This spoof of my favorite trash TV show was cooked up specifically for the First Sundays film festival as another Audience Film. At the end of each month's screenings, a spectator is randomly chosen from the theater and a short suggestion is taken from whoever is first to yell something. Then, some sucker like myself quickly shoots a film based upon the suggested topic, staring the audience member. The results screen at the next month's festival.
For this one, David Rankin was plucked from his seat as someone in the front row screamed "Fembot." So that was my task: make a film in a month starring David, about a fembot. Appropriately enough, we shot this on Valentine's Day.
